GARRETT, Ind. — Fore the kids — and for their future. Northeastern Indiana CASA’s (NEIN CASA) annual Golf Outing brought together community members and local organizations to support its mission.
Golfers, volunteers and sponsors gathered at the Garrett Country Club on September 6 for a day of camaraderie and friendly competition.
Funds raised from the event benefited NEIN CASA’s efforts to provide a voice for children in judicial proceedings.
”This event is a reflection of our community’s commitment to standing up for children who need a voice,” said Kristi Bachman, NEIN CASA’s Executive Director. “Every dollar raised helps us serve more children, giving them a consistent advocate during one of the most difficult times in their lives. We’re grateful for everyone who participated, sponsored or donated to make this year’s Golf Outing a success.”
Following 18 holes of golf, one team took home the winning title: Millie Mishler, Marcia McNagny, Christine Mannina and Julie Jensen-Kelley.
The organization is looking forward to another year of crucial advocacy with one clear goal: to ensure every child has a safe, permanent and nurturing home.
