Members of the Northeastern Indiana Board of Realtors, pictured with Northeastern Indiana CASA Executive Director Kristi Bachman, are working to supply suitcases for children.

Have you ever moved from one house to another? The task can be daunting. But boxes, packaging tape, some muscle and a few pick up trucks can make the job a little easier. Imagine if you didn't have boxes, bags or suitcases to pack your belongings or transport those items. How frustrating, exhausting and overwhelming would it be to carry arm loads instead of taking truck loads.

For children who are moved out of their homes, a suitcase can be a valuable item. Now Northeastern Indiana CASA will be able to provide suitcases to these kids thanks to the help and support of  the Northeastern Indiana Board of Realtors.

We are excited to partner with these professionals. They know first hand how the right tools can make a transition, such as a move, somewhat easier to weather. With the suitcases they are able to provide, children served through the CASA program will have what they need to carry and transport their personal belongings when it is necessary for them to be removed from their home.

Thanks to the Northeastern Indiana Board of Realtors for choosing to make a difference in such a great way!
