Sheriff, deputy’s pie showdown supports Northeastern Indiana CASA efforts
The dueling pie battle returned for the 14th Annual CASA Palooza. LaGrange County Sheriff Tracy Harker and DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Heffelfinger went head-to-head in a pie bake-off to help support Northeastern Indiana CASA’s efforts. Their donations were just a slice of the auction items up for bidding this year.

CASA Palooza 2025: You Helped us Bloom
Our efforts were in full BLOOM at the 14th Annual CASA Palooza this year! We welcomed community members and Northeastern Indiana CASA supporters to Sylvan Cellars in Rome City for a night of food, drinks and company. With your help, we raised money for training and awareness.

CASA Palooza set to return its 14th year
Northeastern Indiana CASA is preparing for CASA Palooza, its annual fundraising event supporting the organization’s mission to advocate for children in the court system.

Virtual palooza pulls through for CASA
Northeastern Indiana CASA held its annual event to raise funds for the mission, but this year’s event went virtual. CASA Palooza, held in September, generated more than $21,900 through a few days of online auctions and generous sponsors. “I want to thank all of our sponsors, advocates and staff,” said Executive Director Brooke Griggs. “We weren’t sure exactly how we would transition Palooza to an online format, but we all pulled it off.”
